WATCH (Washington Area Theatre Community Honors) announced the nominations for the 13th annual WATCH Awards. 126 productions (43 musicals, 83 plays) by thirty-three community theater companies were adjudicated in 2012.
The St. Mark’s Players cast does full justice to some of the best duet and ensemble music of the last few decades on Broadway, in a thoroughly satisfying production of Simon and Norman’s 1991 musical version of the classic children’s story, The Secret Garden.
Overall, St. Mark’s Players’ Arcadia was an enjoyable and thought-provoking production.

The celebration of the 2010 WATCH (Washington Area Theater Community Honors) Awards was held at a public ceremony at The Birchmere on Sunday, March 6, 2011.
WATCH (Washington Area Theatre Community Honors) announced the nominations at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia on Sunday, January 16th. The Award Ceremony will be on Sunday, March 6, 2011 starting at 7:00 pm, at The Birchmere, Alexandria, VA. 121 productions (35 musicals, 86 plays) were adjudicated in 2010. Thirty-one community theater companies participated in WATCH adjudication.
For a fun, stress-free night of Shakespeare, St. Mark’s is the place to be.
