Theater conventions have changed a great deal in the past three-quarters of a century. A show so fixed in its own time and style of play construction as HCW may not be able to play successfully in 2012 at all.
Olney’s You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown was wonderful. Bright colors, funny songs, and expressive actors combined to create an entertaining evening.
Catch this rarely-produced show while you can, with a great performance from Charles Watley as “Mr. Tibbs.”
