The Arlington Players’ DC area première of 9 to 5, the Musical is a fun show, with serious underpinnings, but all in all, it’s a good time at the theater.
Mr. Skidmore and his cast and crew have created a thrilling, insightful piece of theatre that will make you question your judgment and appeal to the potential deviant within us all.
This is truly professional, regional theatre that is both spectacle and subtlety in the exact right balance.
It is the pervasive sense of irrational frenzy that is the most impressive element of this Macbeth.
Professional quality shines through in every aspect of the production.
Like its characters, who ultimately seek a life that, if not perfect and normal, is next to normal, the current Reston Community Players production, though not without flaws, is next to excellent.
From the funky Flying Monkeys to the magical witches to the Yellow Brick Road, St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School’s jovial, fervent production of The Wiz certainly gave audiences much to smile about.
With its mature themes and incredibly dramatic and meaningful text, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is a daring feat for high school students to attempt.
Oakcrest School cooked up a lovely production of Willy Wonka which was practically good enough to eat!
