Centreville put on a an enjoyable show that reminded that audience that every day men and women do difficult, boring, or unappreciated jobs.
Welcome to their humble island of Wakefield High School, where shoes hold little importance, male chests are bared, and skirts have a tendency to fly and flounce with minds of their own.
Chantilly approached their production with dedication and cohesion, ending their memorable performance on an uplifting note.
Westfield High School’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was wonderfully enjoyable and at the end, had many saying “Joseph, we’ll never forget you.”
Dominion High School’s performance of Harvey was endearingly quirky and spoke to the inner child in everyone.
Georgetown Prep’s production of Of Mice and Men tenderly carried the story of George Milton and Lennie Small through the convincing actors and flawless sets.
Lake Braddock Secondary School’s rendition of the classical tale Dracula did well to present an old story in this new world.
While the content may have seemed a bit eccentric, the Teens and Theatre Company’s obvious dedication to the difficult vaudevillian style contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Despite a few blank faces and occasional voice projection issues, the cast and crew of Seussical, the Musical handled the vocal-heavy show with zeal and confidence.
