In McLean High School’s production of Arthur Miller’s play A View from the Bridge, the audience got a first-hand feel for what life was like in the Carbone family after two illegal immigrants moved in with them.
Overall, Duke Ellington’s production was well executed and deeply moving. The minimalist sets and costumes let the actors tell the story, which they did with energy and enthusiasm.
Unlike the heroine of the play, the audience left wishing they could stay a little longer in the enchanting world of Oz, thanks to Wootton High School’s bewitching production.
In the end, the show put a smile on every audience member’s face as they exited thinking about the marvelous mind of Dr. Seuss and this wonderful showcase by the Oakcrest girls.

In a production that proves that the story of his monster remains quite alive, Walt Whitman High School’s presentation of Frankenstein was nothing less than electrifying.
Although there seemed to be moments where actors had some trouble communicating the overall message, their love of the show and of their fellow performers was obvious and made The New School of Northern Virginia’s The Adding Machine an enjoyable and thought-provoking experience.
Regardless of these few shortcomings, Pippin came off as an enjoyable production.
