I was very impressed by the set in this show. PWLT took a cavernous gymnasium and managed to create an intimate setting. It was not until the intermission that I noticed the basketball hoop above the set, because the focus of the lights and arrangement of the set was so specific and guided my eyes directly where they needed to look. The closeness of the audience to the players was perfect for this kind of show, where I found that to a certain extent I was more interested in figuring out what was going on in the characters' heads, rather than the plot. Though maybe not a flawless production, I immensely enjoyed it!
