As challenging as Greek tragedy can be for a community theater, it can be effectively presented without elaborate stagecraft, and the simplicity of the set and lighting design worked well for this production.
This was a well executed farce that will leave some confused, but everyone laughing.
This performance by the Bowie Community Theatre was a deep show with touches of humor, but mostly an uncovering of past secrets and feelings of hurt and abandonment by the playwright towards his parents.

To have great comedy, it’s not enough to have a funny script. Finding the right talent is essential, and 2nd Star Productions’ Charles W. Maloney has done a spectacular job with the delightful Be My Baby.
