The awards for the 26th Annual Helen Hayes Awards were announced on Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Warner Theatre. During 2009, 182 productions were produced that met the Helen Hayes Awards’ eligibility requirements. Scores were tabulated in consideration of 2,821 indiviudal pieces of work, direction, design and 1,669 acting performances.
