My best friend and I saw the Keegan Theatre’s production of Rent on January 6. After the show the only thing I could say was, “WOW.” This production was one of the most amazing live shows I have ever seen in my life. It had everything I look for in a show. I agree with Ms. Feguson’s comment about how the small theatre gave an initmate feel to the show which I thought added to the experience. The actors were AMAZING. They all had wonderful voices and knew just how to tap into the characters they were playing. Everything they said was believable and they kept me entertained from start to finish. I also really enjoy the ensemble numbers because they also had such great voices and characterizations. This was an absolutely phenomenal show that I recommend to everyone. Kudos to Mark and Susan Rhea and the rest of the technical crew who captured the essence of the show brilliantly. Thanks to the Keegan Theatre for a great theatre experience. 🙂
