Shakespeare Theatre Company Casting Call
By Laura & Mike Clark • Nov 11th, 2007 • Category: NewsThe Shakespeare Theatre Company at the Harman Center for the Arts seeks a local boy 15-19 years old under 5’7 to play leading role in On the Eve of Friday Morning, a new play by Norman Allen, to be directed by Associate Artistic Director David Muse.
Must be available from December 18th 2007 – January 19th, 2008. The following is a breakdown of the commitment:
- December 18th – January 6th – Rehearsals (generally Tues-Sun between 10am-8pm. We can be flexible to some degree with class schedules)
- January 7th – January 10th – Tech (generally Tues-Sun between noon-midnight)
- January 11th – January 19th – Performances (during the day)
This role is open to all ethnicities. Actors of color are especially encouraged to apply.
Character Description: “BAHAD” – Should play VERY young (12-14 years). An orphan boy. He is curious, smart, quick and has learned to survive on his own. He has a sharp tongue and a quick mind. Very likeable.
